When do I apply?

Generally an advertisement inviting applications for the MMS/MSC Finance full-time program is put up in the leading newspapers a month or two before the exam.

Are there any hostel facilities?

JBIMS students get hostel facilities in the hostels of University of Mumbai, but these hostel accommodations are limited to Outside Mumbai students.

Does work experience act as an add-on in getting admitted to the institute?

Apart from score, evaluation criteria from this year will take into account complete personality of the candidate, which includes various parameters like extra-curriculars, other significant achievements, etc., though work –ex is also a component of this but if a fresher has other substantial credentials, he/she can cover up in other parameters. Work-ex alone would not be the deciding criteria.

What are the activities at JBIMS that add value?

What is a normal day at JBIMS?

Our day normally starts as early as 7 a.m. and goes on as late as 10 p.m. with a mixture of academic and extra-curricular inputs. The day becomes all the more hectic with surprise tests, presentations, projects and discussions on corporate case studies. Additionally enthusiastic students also hone their skills by volunteering in committees & clubs and participating in inter-collegiate competitions

Do you run any autonomous courses?

JBIMS has attained an autonomous status and starting with 2015-17 admission process for full time courses will be conducted by the institute.
